Hello My Lovely,
So today, I created this little challenge for myself as a fun idea to try. I’m also trying to be more self-aware about spending money wisely, staying humble, you know. I feel like at a time such as this with COVID and everything, so many people are unemployed. I don’t feel like I should be spending a large about of money to look cute. So, this thrift store challenge was the perfect fit. I got to spend less money and get to create a super cute outfit!
And let me tell you! Oh my god, it was so much fun. I have spent almost 3 hours in the thrift store. If I can give you guys any suggestions about shopping at the thrift store, try not to get overwhelmed with the number of styles and items they have in store, and even if you didn’t like non of it. Try to develop an idea or a theme in mind or find the clothing item you want best, and try to style your outfit based on that clothing piece. It is similar to the concept of finding your outfit vocal point.
I have such fun styling and finding items to complete any outfit! I work with what I have, and it’s not half bad. I strongly recommend you to try it too.
