My name is Kusalin Jaemkrajang but people know me as Sali. I am 26 years old and I studied Textile Design at De Montfort University in United Kingdom back in 2017. Now I’m studying Fashion Marketing And Management at Fanshawe College. I was originally from Thailand but I have been moving around in Europe for the past 10 years. Moving around and travelling gave me the opportunity to learn about a variety of cultures. I was able to use this to my advantage as it allowed me to expand my knowledge on existing fabrics and materials.
My interest in fashion first originated from textile design and I am slowly finding the fashion industry very fascinating. From a young age I was inspired by my mothers choice in fashion, and was intrigued by how she made a simple piece of fabric into something spectacular. I used these skills within my own work and always experimented with materials and accessories, attempting to personalize my own clothes and make them unique to a style that suits me. Fashion Marketing And Management has opened my eyes to a strong understanding of the business aspects of the industry, including production to marketing.
